Leadership Institute elections training May 8

From contributed information

Interested in taking an election campaign class to learn about citizen participation? The Conservative Campaign School is geared to everyone—candidates, committeemen, precinct workers and citizens. This overview class for precinct-level volunteers helps you get a feel for the overall picture of a campaign and teaches you how to spot a candidate who is running a  “good” campaign and a candidate who is running a “weak” campaign.

The Leadership Institute offers at least 30 days of training on everything related to campaigns, grassroots organizations, online communication and making a good impression on TV. For more information, see their Web site, http://www.leadershipinstitute.org.

You can try a one-day class Saturday, May 8, near O’Hare, or as an introduction to further training. The class will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Hall VFW Post 6869, Banquet Hall, 2622 Desplaines Ave., Riverside, IL 60546.

Cost is $70, which includes lunch and materials. Pay by credit card or check. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by check; e-mail LaurieHellmer@gmail.com to make arrangements.
