Fee Assistance offered for Park District programs

From press release

The Rockford Park District believes no child should be denied access to learning an important ability such as swimming, or developing skills such as golf or tennis for a lifetime of recreation enjoyment, due to their inability to pay. The Park District’s “Fun For All Kids” fee assistance program is for youth ages 19 and younger whose household is within Rockford Park District boundaries and meets the program’s financial guidelines. People of any age with disabilities who are Park District residents and meet financial guidelines are also eligible. Fee assistance is available for Park District programs open to the general public and that require fees for individual registration and individual program participation, such as summer camps, youth sports, lesson programs, etc. Assistance is offered at two subsidy levels, with partial contribution from the head of household. Applications with complete guidelines and documentation requirements are available at both Customer Service locations: 401 S. Main St. and Carlson Ice Arena at Riverside and Perryville, or by calling (815) 987-8800 to obtain by mail.
