Hip hop artist G-Eazy at Kryptonite Friday, May 21

Local entertainment entrepreneur C. Hare of Borgata, who is also an artist manager for local hip hop artists Fresco and RyeBread, will take his artists on the road with national up-and-coming hip hop act G-Eazy.

Straight from California and currently attending school in New Orleans, G has performed before thousands of people along with Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Mike Jones, HyperCrush, Afroman and others. G-Eazy is a rapper, producer, engineer, graphic designer and video editor.

The tour started May 13 in New Orleans and continues on to Toledo, Ohio, May 28, with a stop in Rockford Friday, May 21, at Kryptonite Bar, 308 W. State St. C. Hare has been utilizing Kryptonite Bar by bringing in national independent and up-and-coming hip hop acts, not only to contribute to the downtown Rockford night life, but also to network his artists in other cities by trading shows.

“Kryptonite Bar has been my favorite bar in Rockford, ever since it opened, and I really try to contribute to the downtown entertainment scene as much as possible. Chris W. from Kryptonite understands what it is that I am trying to do, and he helps me accomplish my networking goals,” says C. Hare.

The tour will continue Saturday, May 22, in Milwaukee with Dana Coppa, then back to Rockford for a special Free All Ages show at Bob’s Bike Shop in Loves Park at 4 p.m. before hitting the road to Cincinnati, Toledo and Pittsburgh.
