I am troubled that no individual is ever determined to be responsible and held accountable for these disasters. As has been learned from the extensive litigation which resulted from the oil spill in Alaska many of the individuals whose lives have been destroyed by the loss of friends and family members will never live to see a cent of restitution. Corporations demand rights but insist they need not display any morals since their function is to make money regardless of human cost.
