Last chance to make appointments for Ronald McDonald Care Mobile
From press release
OREGON, Ill.–The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is returning to Ogle County in June. The Care Mobile is a medical and dental office on wheels that provides services to children ages 0-18. However, you must call now to schedule your medical and/or dental appointments because this will be your last chance to make summer appointments. The Care Mobile will not be returning to Ogle County again until December.
As of May 27, there were limited openings for medical physicals and dental appointments. Some of the services include immunizations, physicals and well-child exams.
The services are free and confidential. To qualify for services at the Care Mobile, families must either have no insurance, or have Medicaid or KidCare. If you have private insurance, Ogle County Health Department asks you to see a doctor in your community.
The Care Mobile will be in Rochelle on June 14 and 15 for dental exams and June 17 for medical services. It will be located at the McDonald’s Restaurant on Route 251.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling the Ogle County Health Department at (815) 732-7330, ext. 372 for appointments.
The Care Mobile is a cooperative service among Ogle County Health Department, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Rockford Health System’s Children’s Medical Center.
