Police in search of suspect in attempted sexual assaults near 15th, Sixth and Charles streets

In the past five weeks, there have been two attempted sexual assaults in the area of 15th Street and Sixth Avenue and 2000 Charles Street. The white male suspect is targeting females who have ranged in age from 22-36 years while walking in the area.

The suspect walks up to potential victims on foot and engages them in a brief conversation. The suspect has grabbed the victim’s arm and walks alongside them making sexual demands. On both occasions, the victims have been able to break free of the suspect’s hold and escape unharmed.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, 6 feet tall, large build, weighing 200-250 pounds, balding or short hair and has dark skin tone.
