Rockford College offers short workshops for nonprofits

“Summer Shortz,” a series of three power-packed, short workshops for nonprofit groups, is slated at Rockford College this summer.
Sponsored by the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE), the sessions include the following:
June 9: “Servant Leadership,” with Rockford College professors Belinda Wholeben and Julie Luetschwager;
July 14: “Transformational Leadership,” with Webbs Norman, retired executive director of the Rockford Park District; and
Aug. 11: “Level 5 Leadership—Good to Great,” with Phil Eaton, president/CEO of Rosecrance.
All sessions will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the college’s Colman Library patio. Cost is $15 each or $40 for all three sessions. To register or for more information, call NICNE at (815) 394-4384.
