Barmore shooting: Results of independent review to be made public at 3:30 p.m., today

Results of the independent review of the officer-involved shooting of Mark Barmore that occurred Aug. 24, 2009, will be made public at 3:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 15. Check back to rockrivertimes.com at 3:30 p.m. to view the full report.

The independent assessment report was prepared by Attorneys Kelli M. Evans and Christy E. Lopez, principals of Independent Assessment and Monitoring, LLP, of Oakland, Calif.

Barmore was shot and killed Aug. 24, 2009, after attempting to flee and hide from police in a storage room inside the basement of House of Grace Learning Center inside Kingdom Authority International Ministries Church, 518 N. Court St., Rockford. Barmore was 23.
