Council of Rockford Gardeners hosts Garden Walk 2010

The Council of Rockford Gardeners will host its free Garden Walk 2010 from noon to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 16. The event features eight beautiful gardens in the Rockford area. This is a “rain or shine” event.
An estimated 1,000 gardeners attended the event last year. Be a part of the Rockford gardening story. Highlights include:
→ A free self-guided tour of eight unique gardens
→ Viewing some of the most beautiful and inspiring gardens in the Rockford area
→ Gardening and gardens of every variety:
→ eclectic, traditional, country, Old World and containers
→ vegetables, herbs, grasses, perennials and hostas
→ water features, statuary, garden art, and koi ponds
→ large, small, sun, shade, new and old
Visit Garden Walk “headquarter stops” the day of the walk to obtain the flier with locations and map:
