Annual Dairy Breakfast June 29

BELVIDERE, Ill.—The 13th Annual Boone County Farm Bureau Dairy Breakfast will be June 29, at Ward-View Farm, 1171 Rockton Road, Caledonia, Ill. Breakfast will be served from 6:30 until 11 a.m.
The Ward family and various groups will be providing different displays including the Corn-porium, John Deere Dealership (replica), “Then and Now” farm equipment display and Model T cars. Activities include a craft show featuring some of the area’s most talented crafters and vendors; horse-drawn wagon rides provided by local team drivers; antique tractor wagon rides; children’s games; a petting zoo; Cow Pie Bingo; and more. Door prizes donated by local businesses will also be given.
All proceeds of the Breakfast and Cow Pie Bingo will go to the Boone County Farm Bureau Foundation. The Foundation was established for the purpose of providing scholarships and increasing agriculture awareness through educational means, such as Agriculture in the Classroom and Summer Ag Institute.
The menu consists of all-you-can-eat pancakes, whole hog sausage, applesauce, ice cream, milk and coffee. Prices are as follows: $5 for adults, $3 children ages 6-10, and children younger than 5 are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Boone County Farm Bureau office or at the door for the same price.
