Here we go again, another "Please can we go over effluent and discuss it in a year?" We have been through this folks with CAVEL, and James, if you don't know where the river is then you have not done your homework and we don't need another " Oh, I am sorry, I didn't know " here. CAVEL was caught years ago, caught is the oprative word, running a LONG hose/pipe to the river for their effluent. Then, they were over almost EVERY single day with their NEW HIGH PRICED TANK, and that was only testing in the morning and not after a day of slaughter, then they didn't want to pay for the fines, then they asked for more time "To Get it RIGHT "!!! James, James James, your propossed building/expanding in other towns/cities/counties has thus far failed, it will fail here. Why did J & A INVEST in a building without prior knowledge of the past and a full scope of the capability of completeing such a project? This is my question, and this should be the citizans, I think there is something very FOUL about this whole plan, and I think we need to investigate it further. Give James or J & A an inch as CAVEL took, DeKalb is in for a Major disaster, speaking from experience folks, DONT LET THEM IN !!!

I mean, yeah. The river is pretty much across the street. Heh. I did that Wikipedia entry a few years ago. It does need updates. I'll see if I can get around to it sometime, I don't do much on Wikipedia anymore :-)

And James: You're stretching it.

Do you not even know where your own plant is? You could throw a rock into the south branch of the Kish from it. If this facility is allowed to operate in this location disaster is inevitable! There is no way that many hogs can be transported and slaughtered without resulting contamination. This facility does not belong inside city limits in Dekalb, and especially no near our precious waterways! Go away Trim-Rite and keep our water clear!

This is completely untrue, the site of the Cavel plant is not on the river or even near the river. How could you print such a lie.
