New public ice skating sessions at Riverview Ice House

Rockford Park District’s Riverview Ice House has added two new evening public ice skating sessions for the summer, where families can enjoy fun and exercise together while cooling off indoors, all for a low cost. A family of four can skate for just $16 per session, including skate rental.

The new sessions are held Mondays and Wednesdays on the studio rink from 6 p.m. until 7:20 p.m. through Aug. 25. Per-session admission is $2 per person; skate rental available for $2. Riverview Ice House is just east of downtown Rockford on the river at 324 N. Madison St. For information on support and adapted equipment for skaters with disabilities, call (815) 987-l8800.
