Astro-Weather: Week of Aug. 4-10, 2010

Wednesday, Aug. 4—The high cautionary energy mentioned yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread yesterday, and apply the warnings well. The potentially cautionary relationship energy mentioned yesterday peaks early this morning, and it surely remains very active through today as well. It is joined by two more major energies that are related and problematic as well. The first easily leads to erratic spaciness and confusion in relationships, especially where recreational substances and the otherwise out-of-it are involved. Trouble can pop up suddenly and in unexpected ways over unusual things. Damage control. The second can bring about erratic and even bizarre behavior in relationships. Watch for sudden unrealistic and unreasonable demands for change. These energies can be seen as social, and with a fun approach and an openness to the unusual, they can be used to the positive, but the right choices will need to be made. Do be aware of a moon void of course period this morning from 7:43 until 11:52 when the moon enters Gemini. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, and general moods will tend to become more communicative. Minor energies are mixed, but more positive than otherwise, and those not caught up in the cautions can have a good time. Choose wisely today.
Thursday, Aug. 5—The high cautionary relationship energy mentioned yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first is related to yesterday’s and serves to extend and inflate it, so keep that in mind. By itself, however, it is high social energy that can be a lot of fun, but is easy to get carried away with. The second, by itself, is normally good for using energy and power to accomplish goals. It can certainly be used that way, and should be, but with the flurry of related cautionary energy, it can also lead to harsh and long-lasting consequences for foolish acting out. Take a disciplined approach.
Friday, Aug. 6—The high energy from yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread and apply, remembering that it can be used for the positive, but the cautions are to be carefully observed. Be aware of two more energies today. The first indicates a general shift in relationship and aesthetics toward a more balanced approach with an appreciation for fairness and beauty. This is Venus entering one of her own signs, Libra, late tonight. This shift is likely to be obscured, however, by the inordinate amount of major energies, both positive and cautionary, that we are having to deal with through this period. It is a positive development, whether it’s noticed right away or not. The second is more of the high but cautionary relationship energy so active these days. This energy easily brings erratic and bizarre behavior, and you will want to watch for sudden unreasonable demands for change. Handled carefully, this can be fun social energy with unusual and stimulating activities. A short moon void of course period will occur this afternoon from 4:20 until 4:49 when the moon enters Cancer. At that point, the energy will shift, and general moods will tend to become more sensitive and protective. Minor energies are of no help today, and there is scattered minor irritability from the mid afternoon through the late night. This will be a very active social Friday night, but one to be very careful with.
Saturday, Aug. 7—Late Friday night social scenes will be highly energized through today’s predawn, but that does not mean they will be all that great. Watch for pushy and aggressive attitudes through the early predawn. The high cautionary relationship energy from yesterday will remain with us through today. Reread and apply. Again, this can be used for fun, but needs to be approached carefully. Be aware of another major energy today. It is similar, but brings out the crazies. Once again, watch for erratic and bizarre behavior of all kinds. Also, be careful in any dealings with authority, which can be capricious and apt to turn on you with little to no warning. Get anything important done before 1:44 this afternoon as the moon will be void of course from then through much of tomorrow. For those not caught up in the cautions, moods can be good. Have fun tonight, but remember the cautions and the void of course.
Sunday, Aug. 8—Yesterday’s moon void of course period runs through much of today, and finally ends at 6:22 this evening when the moon enters Leo. At that point, the energy will lift very noticeably, general moods will tend to become more intense and concerned with self, and the new moon period will begin. The high cautionary energy from the past few days will continue on through today. Reread and apply. Be aware of three more major energies today. The first two are related to the very high level of relationship energy we’ve been having so far this month. These two are rather more settled and solid, and many will want to make good use of them. Take a disciplined approach and repair any recent damage. The potential with this energy is to fall prey to frustrations, however, and if you can’t say something nice, then don’t say anything at all. The second can bring problems with and for authority, especially where people run into restrictions and hit walls. This is not an energy to act out on, as consequences can be harsher and longer lasting than usual. Relax, and take it easy through the void of course. Good moods should be dominant once it ends through the late night.
Monday, Aug. 9—Today is new moon day. It is exact at 10:07 tonight. Remember that what you start at around new moon brings results at the next full moon. This particular new moon period is so intense with so many cautionary energies leading up to and surrounding it that you will just want to be good in every area that you are active in. That said, pay particular attention to relationships, authority, secrets and covert activities, and discipline issues. Be aware of three more major energies today. The first is problems with authority energy mentioned yesterday. It peaks in today’s predawn, and remains very much with us through today. Reread yesterday, and apply the cautions carefully. The second, by itself, would be excess party energy, making today a likely candidate for a three-day weekend. It will still be all of that, but the third major energy is connected and highly cautionary. This energy easily leads to a heavy and potentially coercive sexuality. While this may be fun for some, it can be unsettling and even dangerous for others. This is the most troublesome form of this energy, and, as usual with it in any form, be alert and protect the vulnerable. Minor energies are of very little help today, and good choices will be needed.
Tuesday, Aug. 10—Consider the new moon to continue right on through today and most of tomorrow. Extend all of the cautions from the past few days, especially yesterday’s, through today as well. Reread and apply. Be aware of two more major energies today, both of which are connected to the new moon. The first will have people tending to feel optimistic and good about themselves with a take-on-the-world attitude. Make good use of it, but don’t get carried away with it. Many will find it all too easy to bite off more than they can chew and get into things way over their heads. The second easily leads to the exposure of secrets and things normally kept behind the scenes. Keep a close watch on motives, yours as well as others. This energy also easily leads to problems with authority. Watch for attempts at regime changes at all levels, and don’t get caught up in things that are not your business and are way above your pay grade. Be aware that the moon will be void of course from 2:09 this afternoon until 6 this evening when it enters Virgo. At that point, the energy will shift noticeably, and general moods will tend to become somewhat more discerning and concerned with detail.
