Astro-Weather: Week of Aug. 11-17, 2010
By Guy Spiro
Wednesday, Aug. 11—Continue to observe the new moon through today, and keep on trying to make positive new beginnings. The cautionary energies from the past two days will remain with us as well, so review the videos, and apply the warnings carefully. The frantic levels of high energy we’ve had through the first 10 days of this month will begin to come back down to more normalcy, starting today. It will be several days before people are done reacting and recovering, however, so it may seem as if it’s all still happening for a while. Pay attention to relationships in the early predawn. Take an active and communicative approach through the morning. Some minor aggressive attitudes and relationship issues may occur in the early afternoon, but this will pass, and the rest of the afternoon is open. Be aware that the moon will be void of course from 7:03 this evening through much of tomorrow.
Thursday, Aug. 12—Last night’s moon void of course period runs through much of today, and finally ends at 5:42 this afternoon when the moon enters Libra. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, and general moods will tend to become more concerned with fairness, balance and beauty. We’ve had abnormally few long moon void of course periods through this year so far, and almost none covering workday periods. Remember that when the moon is void of course, new ideas, projects, purchases and any other new things are to be avoided if possible. By all means, do what you must and jump on new opportunities you really want that won’t be repeated, but know that you’ll have to work much harder than normal to bring them to fruition. You’ll also notice that during a long daytime void of course, time and energy seem to drag. By late today, things may seem to be moving through molasses. Relax and tend to old business, cleaning up details through the void, but be prepared for a big rush of energy as it ends. If you watch for the shift, you will see it. There are three major energies. The first two stimulate activity in communication and transportation, and communication in relationships. The third brings relationships to the forefront once again. This will likely have to do with finding out and responding to the new realities coming out of the extremely high relationship energy, both positive and challenging, that we had through the first 10 days of the month. See the current reality, and make new beginnings. This will recur in a stronger form next weekend, so this period runs from now through then.
Friday, Aug. 13—Today begins a string of days when we get a break from major energies. We had enough through the first third of the month to last through the rest of it, but don’t worry, things will heat up again in a few days, just not to the frenzied level so many of us are in recovery from. Watch for some minor irritability in the mid predawn. Pay attention to relationships. Take an active approach through the morning, and get some things done. In the early to mid afternoon, there may be some minor spaciness, but this is likely to pass unnoticed. Take a friendly, communicative approach through the evening and into the late night, and have some fun.
Saturday, Aug. 14—Late Friday-night social scenes will have clear sailing through today’s predawn. Be open to the intuitive process, and pay attention to any dreams you may remember upon waking in the morning. Good moods should be dominant in the late predawn into the early morning. In the late morning, there may be some minor irritability, but this is likely to come and go quickly with little impact. Moods improve through the afternoon, but be aware that the moon will be void of course from 3:06 this afternoon until 7:26 this evening when it enters Scorpio. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, and general moods will tend to become somewhat more intense and passionate. This will be an active social Saturday night, especially once past the void of course, but the minor energies are mixed through the late night, so make the right choices.
Sunday, Aug. 15—Late Saturday-night party people who made the right choices should find today’s predawn open and positive for continuing enjoyment. Those who ran into problems should pack it in early. Take a cooperative approach through the early morning. Seek to understand on deeper levels. Plan some kind of fun activities with those close to you in the late morning through the early afternoon, at least, as there is positive relationship energy to make use of. The rest of the afternoon through the evening is open, but there may be minor erratic emotional reactions in the later evening.
Monday, Aug. 16—The early to mid predawn may have minor hard attitudes, exaggerated emotional responses, and coerciveness. Good mood energy is hard on its heels and, sidestepping the cautions, take a friendly and communicative approach through the rest of the predawn. Most of the morning is open, but watch the late morning through the early afternoon for a period of potential for some very bad moods. That will be followed by minor relationship issues and aggressive attitudes through the rest of the afternoon. The evening chips in with spaciness. Moods will improve markedly through the late night, but be aware of the shortest possible moon void of course period that starts and ends at 12:35 tonight when the moon enters Sagittarius. At that point, the energy will shift, and general moods will tend to become more expansive and open to a range of ideas.
Tuesday, Aug. 17—Today’s predawn starts out with good moods. Take an innovative approach, and be open to the unusual. Most of the rest of the predawn is open. The late predawn into the early morning has good moods again, and you will want to take an expansive, friendly, cooperative and disciplined approach to get the most out of it. Make good choices through the workday to keep the early morning glow going and get a lot done. Moods pick up and become positive again through the evening and the late night. A major cautionary energy tomorrow will start to come into focus through today.
