This Week: Mercury retrograde is in effect from Aug. 20 until Sept. 12. The past will be extremely prevalent at this time. Unresolved past issues will resurface. In the end, this will allow us to put these situations to rest once and for all. In the long haul, all is well that ends well. I want to apologize for not mentioning the huge planetary Cardinal cross that transpired on the 9th of this month. My mother was recently injured, and I have been spread a little thin trying to balance my life. In retrospect, sometimes what we don’t know doesn’t harm us after all.

Aries (March 21 to April 19)—It appears that a past love has some regrets about decisions he or she made regarding you. Keep in mind that you may not be able to rekindle this aspect; too much damage may have been done. Finances are so dynamic and positive at this time, expect to catch up with old debt and see clear to your long-term goals and desires.

Taurus (April 20 to May 20)­—Your trust elements may be tested. You may feel as though you should have a heart-to-heart talk with a friend or loved one. This may not be the best time to try to resolve this situation. You will be “put on the grill,” so to speak, for your heartfelt thoughts. However, you can advise another to avoid the “negative talk.” What we bring voice to has a direct effect on our emotions.

Gemini (May 21 to June 20)—Mercury retrograde or no Mercury retrograde, this would be a great time to get away for a while. Your workload will be quiet enough to enjoy a little time off. When you return, you will be refreshed enough to handle a dynamic financial situation at month’s end. Romance will take a turn for the better.

Cancer (June 21 to July 22)—Try to be conscious of how you speak to others during this time. If you become too aggressive, you may end up on the outside looking in. Move slowly when you approach an intimate matter. A sensitive individual may be out of your life for good if you push him or her too far. Pay close attention to your vehicle at this time as well. You don’t need an unexpected expense.

Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)—You can finally breathe a sigh of relief regarding an old, annoying emotional matter. Put it to rest for good. Now, it’s time to celebrate. Enjoy a night out on the town with a very special someone, and look at your long-term goals this week. Others see the value in your profession and will be interested in lining you up with the right connection. Pick and choose your path wisely.

Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)—When you expect the worst, you will draw that element to you. As you know, this will only begin a downward spiral that will be difficult to crawl out of. You need to release something that was way too much to handle. Try not to see this as a failure; instead, see it as room for improvement, a fresh start and a new beginning. Then, move on and don’t look back.

Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)—Your temper or the anger issues of another could create a rippling effect on your personal life. Perhaps it would be best to keep quiet and not voice your personal opinions during this retrograde time frame. Try out your listening ears, and see how much information you’re able to gather. This could be very valuable in the long run.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)—You will be celebrating the good fortunes of your family or a loved one this week. You know deep down in your heart you will get “your turn.” This way, you’re practicing for your own positive outcome. Those who cannot support the achievements of others will not progress at this time. Protect your friends and family from those who want to put a negative spin on their lives. You will see this come full circle shortly.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)—You will need to take some time off here soon just to “do nothing.” Your schedule is overwhelmed with conflicting responsibilities, and you feel guilty for not accomplishing each task. Go easy on yourself. Trust that it will all get done, and count the money on the way to the bank. This is an extremely positive financial time frame. Take advantage of this element.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—You can see the big picture better now than you were able to in the recent past. Additional information has developed, and now the other side of the story has been revealed. A family member or friend who had been hypnotized by someone else’s perpetual “bad mouthing” is beginning to see you’re all right. Give them a chance.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)—Expansion with business as well as a creative project will receive the green light during this time frame. Positive individuals of “like mind” will encourage your every move. Down the road, you will be able to enlighten them with gifted contacts as well. This will allow the “pay it forward” element to become very active in your life.

Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)—Romance could become a bit sticky if you allow a past love to be involved in your life. The new individual will not want to be connected to any old influences. Your financial aspects are creating new opportunities for growth and development. Concentrate on these openings to bring you good fortune and emotional well-being.
