Red Shoe Run to host Wine-Tasting Fund-raiser Aug. 20

The Red Shoe Run for Donor Awareness will host a Wine-Tasting Fundraiser from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 20, at Artale Wine, 6876 Spring Creek Road in Rockford. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Cost is $15 per person.

Come enjoy a night out with your friends, colleagues and family to help raise money for the Red Shoe Run for Donor Awareness. A portion of all proceeds from admission price and wine purchases will go to help raise awareness about the critical need for organ, tissue, cornea,  blood and marrow donation and pay for local heroes to get tested as potential lifesaving marrow donors.
