Rockford man charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin

Rico O. Graham, 36, of Rockford, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of cannabis. Bond has yet to be set.

Members of the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit had been investigating the sale of illegal narcotics by a subject who had been reported to have been living at 328 Churchill. The information received was that the individual was selling drugs by means of delivering them by vehicle to customers.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed Sept. 1 by the Rockford Police Department’s Narcotics Unit. Two adult females, two adult males and an infant child were located at the residence.

Detectives completed a search and recovered a loaded handgun, heroin, cannabis, United States currency and other items associated with packaging of drugs for sale.

Graham was arrested and is lodged at Winnebago County Jail. All other subjects were released and not charged.
