Spanish Dancing Horse at Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere Sept. 18-19

BELVIDERE, Ill.—Summerfield Zoo has announced a visit from “El Gato,” the Spanish Dancing Horse. The public is invited to see this very special performance by “El Gato” and his other equine friends Sept. 18-19.
Kelly Reynolds, owner of “El Gato” the Spanish Dancing horse, said: “This will be a great opportunity for the community to see not only the zoo animals, but also a beautiful equine presentation. ‘El Gato’ is an athletic and talented Arabian horse that will be performing along with some other beautiful Arabian horses. It’s also a great chance to learn about the original light horse breed, the versatile and beautiful Arabian horse.”
Summerfield Zoo is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19. Admission is $7 per adult and $5 per child, and all proceeds go to the care of all the animals, many of which are rescues.
Enjoy horse presentations, exotic animal presentations, a petting zoo, and shop in the gift shop all while at the zoo.
Summerfield Zoo is a not-for-profit organization providing an up-close and personal animal experience for the whole family. At a small zoo, visitors can get up close and meet many of the animals.
