True Colors Alpaca Farm celebrates Alpaca Farm Days Sept. 25-26

CALEDONIA, Ill.—True Colors Alpaca Farm, 14718 Rte. 76 in Caledonia, will host Alpaca Farm Days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25-26. The event is free and open to the public.
Alpacas are rare animals raised for their luxury fiber. They are shorn once a year without harm. True Colors Alpaca Farm has 40 suri alpacas. Suri alpacas are the more rare of the two breeds of alpaca, being only 5 percent of the world’s population of alpacas.
Demonstrations, alpaca socks and other alpaca products, along with baked goods, will be for sale.
