Get scared at ‘FearFest’ Sept. 25

R.I.P. Productions and Party City join forces to bring you “FearFest” from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, at Party City, 6370 E. State St., Rockford.
Join R.I.P. for an afternoon of spine-tingling horror events including a “Meet & Greet” session with “Ripper,” “Hoo-Dini,” and the infamous “Sweet Tooth” from the 2010 Screamatorium Haunted House and Fear Asylum Haunted House. Characters will be available for photo ops and autographs.
R.I.P. Productions will kick off their 2010 season for the Screamatorium Haunted House and Fear Asylum Haunted House with general admission tickets available for purchase. Other events include a “Scream Contest,” face painting for the kids, refreshments and your chance to register for a “FearFest” prize package with qualifying purchases in Party City merchandise through Friday, Oct. 8. Prize package includes a $100 Party City gift certificate, VIP tickets to the 2010 Screamatorium Haunted House or Fear Asylum Haunted House and a “Dark Stalkers” VIP Package.
The winner of the “FearFest” prize will be drawn at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Fear Asylum Haunted House at the Belvidere Park District (William Grady Pool), 916 W. Lincoln Ave., in Belvidere. You must be present to win.
