I was out of town during the event and upon return my sister-in-law died of cancer. That is not an excuse for my failure to call or notify you, but an explanation. I hope you accept my apology and thank you for mentioning me as the front-runner. I am working hard and I believe I can do an excellent job setting policy and in moving the newly formed Winnebago County Forest Preserve District forward.
