Oct. 9 bowling tournament benefits Barbara Olson Center

LOVES PARK, Ill.—A 9-pin Bowling Tournament benefiting Barbara Olson Center of Hope is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9, at Park Lanes, 5318 N. Second St., Loves Park, Ill.
Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. and the bowling fun starts at 2 p.m. The $16-per-person entrance fee includes three games of bowling and shoe rental. Door prizes from community businesses and many raffles to help out this worthy cause will be included. For more information, or to sign up, call Dominic Eterno at (815) 871-2097. All bowlers will receive Handicap Pins.
The Barbara Olson Center of Hope is at 3206 N. Central Ave., Rockford, and is a not-for-profit organization for people with special developmental needs. The Center of Hope has been serving the Rock River Valley area since 1948, and serves more than 200 participants.
