Your Horoscope: Week of Oct. 13-19, 2010

This Week: Venus, the planet of love, is retrograde until Nov. 18, creating some unusual behavior in the “World Series” of love. Severe, extreme emotions, including jealousy, could damper many promising relationships if caution is not used. Do not be reckless with the heart of another now, or this could come back to bite you in the long run. My favorite holiday, Halloween, is just around the corner. Aries (March 21 to April 19)—An opportunity arrives to expand your career path this month. Keep your eyes and ears open, and follow up on leads. This shift will also put you in a position to expand your personal relationship sector. Artistic talents flourish at this time. You may have found a new muse to inspire you.

Taurus (April 20 to May 20)—A friendship could quickly turn into a romantic relationship. Be cautious not to move too fast. Make sure you really want to cross that line. Once the transition takes place, there is no going back. However, this can also be the best thing to happen to both of you. Take your time, and allow this to unfold naturally.

Gemini (May 21 to June 20)—You may find yourself past the point of annoyed regarding the way another may be taking care of himself/herself, a pet or a child. It may be more wise to work behind the scenes to get things under control than to flat-out blast this individual. Midweek finds you in a delightful dilemma—you cannot pick the wrong path.

Cancer (June 21 to July 22)—Do not allow an insecure female to disrupt your happy home. This has gone too far, and it’s time to call in a favor. Ask an older, wiser female to dismantle this bomb. She will have the power and ability to know where the fuse is. At week’s end, you’re putting together a fabulous financial deal.

Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)—Make absolutely sure you have let all of your loved ones know exactly how much they mean to you. You have gone through some major changes this past month, and it has been quite stressful on you. You may not have always “minded your tongue” when you have barked out your concerns. This is still weighing heavily on your loved one’s mind. Clear the air with love and appreciation.

Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)—Romance has your back, allowing you to feel in tip-top shape. Even though you have felt like a tiny ship tossed about at sea with your emotions, you have the ability to receive love at this time. Career will fall into place after the first of the year. Take a leap of faith, and manifest your biggest hopes, dreams and ambitions. You will not fail.

Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)—The perfect fit and the perfect timing arrive at the 11th hour this week. You are about to move forward in an entirely different direction with career and your personal life. Trust that the universe has a bigger plan for you. Even though you may not have complete control over it today, you will master this skill in time.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)—Your paranoia may be getting the best of you this week. Honestly, no one is really “out to get you,” as you may think. You are going through a learning process as to how to deal with others. Try not to think this is all about you—it’s not. Others may project their fears and concerns in your direction. Read between the lines.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)—Enough of the whining and complaining—it’s a “beautiful life.” Pay attention to the sun shining and those around you who have a great purpose in your life. In other words, it’s time to count your blessings “big time.” If you have magnified life’s little aggravations to the 10th power, stop it, or the universe will give you something to really cry about.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—Finances are extremely favorable this week. You will be able to cover all of your responsibilities as well as treat yourself to something positive. Try not to worry about the upcoming holidays. There will be plenty of cash to cover all of the bases. Take some time to show your loved one how much you care. He or she may have been on the back burner too long.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)—All eyes are on you this week. Present yourself in the best possible light. Expansions with career are on the horizon. You’re networking with those who will benefit you in the year to come. Expect 2010 to be a memorable year. Take a “girls’/boys’” night out midweek. You won’t regret it.

Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)—Think outside the box, and try not to fall into “clinical thinking.” Someone is presenting you with an unconventional way of thought. This has happened for a reason, and it’s your job to figure out how this applies to your lifestyle. Friday, a dark-haired female gives you some insight to an old wound or long-standing problem. You will find a different approach to a problem as a result.
