Wednesday, Oct. 20—Be aware of and deal with five major energies today. The first can be very good for strengthening and solidifying relationships. This will need an open and honest communication, and perhaps some negotiation. Remember, however, that Venus is retrograde, and issues from the past may very well come up for review. The emphasis must be on healing and not on winning. Also, be very careful in any bringing up of old relationships to current partners. This will have to be handled very well if that’s where things end up, which can easily happen. The second indicates a shift in thinking and communication patterns toward a deeper, more intense, and perhaps passionate mode. This is Mercury entering Scorpio this afternoon. The third, once again, brings out the crazies. Watch for erratic and bizarre behavior of all kinds. Also, be very careful in dealings with authority of any kind as bosses and other authority figures can be very capricious and turn on you suddenly with little to no warning. The fourth is very positive, and there will be abundant energy and power to be put to any good use. Remember all of the cautions, however, as you seek to make the most of this energy. The fifth is high social energy that is more positive than otherwise, but easily leads to all manner of overindulgence. Many important choices need to be made today. Do be aware of and work around this morning’s moon void of course period that runs from 5:25 until 10:22 when the moon enters Aries. At that point, the energy will lift very noticeably, and general moods will tend to become somewhat more assertive and aggressive. Minor energies are of no help today, and so, once again, good choices will be needed.

Thursday, Oct. 21—All of yesterday’s high energy, both cautionary and positive, will remain with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Be aware of three more major energies today. The first and second are related, and especially taken together, are highly cautionary. Watch for some people to run into restrictions and frustrations and to foolishly act out on them. This can, in extreme cases, include violence. This is to be avoided, as consequences can be much harsher and longer lasting than usual. Also, watch for spaciness, drug- and alcohol-fueled violence, and be very careful around water, hot and caustic liquids, and gases and explosive materials and situations. This is the stuff of headlines and, while most of us will certainly not be caught up in the worst of it, you do not want to be among those who are. You will notice energy levels rising throughout today as the third major energy, tomorrow’s full moon, comes into focus. This, of course, expands and inflates anything that is going on, and it is in bad combination with today’s cautionary energies.

Friday, Oct. 22—Today is full moon day. It is exact at 8:36 tonight. Remember that full moons are always high energy and deserve to be approached with respect. Yesterday’s cautionary energies will remain very much with us through today. Reread yesterday and apply the warnings very carefully. While we have had, in the recent past, even more cautionary full moon periods, this one bears as much vigilance as any. Make use of a positive major energy today. This one is very good for seeing and communicating on deep levels. Things normally kept secret and hidden become more accessible than usual, but not in a threatening or damaging way, in most cases. Good moods should be dominant for everyone not caught up in the cautions, especially from the late morning through the afternoon. Be aware of a short moon void of course period tonight from 8:36 until 9:29 when the moon enters Taurus. At that point, the energy will shift very noticeably, and general moods will tend to become more down to earth and concerned with fun and enjoyment. Friday-night social scenes will hit high gear as the void of course ends, and this will obviously be a high-energy evening. Enjoy the full moon intensity, but remember the cautions, and be careful.

Saturday, Oct. 23—Late Friday-night social scenes will be highly energized well into today’s predawn. Good moods should prevail, but watch the late predawn for irritability and argumentativeness. Pack it in when you see it coming. The full moon and the cautionary energy from the past two days will remain very much with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first is the sun’s entry into the fixed water sign Scorpio early this morning, as the middle portion of the fall season begins. During this time, continue to gather and store the harvest from the major projects begun at the Vernal Equinox last March. The second is very good for initiating projects and activities having to do with meditation, prayer or other spiritual practices. This energy can be viewed as social, however, and it is a full moon Saturday night. Have a great time, but remember the cautions. Do read ahead about a positive fun energy from tomorrow that will kick in tonight. Scattered minor irritability occurs here and there from the late predawn through the late night. Choose wisely.

Sunday, Oct. 24—Late Saturday party scenes will be highly energized well into today’s predawn. Moods will not necessarily be all that good, however, and good choices will be needed. Do remember to extend the full moon and attendant cautions through today. Reread and apply. Be aware of two major energies today. The first is the positive spiritual and social energy mentioned yesterday. The second is a very positive energy that is great for any kind of fun, unusual and stimulating activities one may be attracted to. It is also very positive for the use of energy and power in any activity involving science, technology and magic. Minor relationship issues and coercive attitudes may occur in the early to mid morning. The rest of the daytime opens up. Good moods will run through the evening, but watch for a downturn later with hard attitudes and spaciness.

Monday, Oct. 25—The last of the full moon and its attendant energies will finally fade out through today. Some people will still be caught up in all of that, however, and many more will still be dealing with fallout. Yesterday’s high positive energy will remain with us through today, so reread and make the best possible use of it. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first is positive for communication in relationships and making new beginnings. Remember that Venus remains retrograde, however, and issues and people from the past can easily come back into focus. The second is much the same, with the same positive potential, yet cautionary backdrop. Explore relationship territory, but carefully. The moon will be void of course this morning from 2:48 until 6:47, when it enters Gemini. At that point, the energy will shift noticeably, and general moods will tend to become more communicative. Watch the late morning through the midday for minor erratic irritability and coercive attitudes. The later evening into the late night has more of the same, with relationship issues thrown in for good measure. Choose well.

Tuesday, Oct. 26—Be aware of two major energies today. The first stimulates a great deal of activity in communication and transportation. This can be positive, but it is easy to get carried away with. Don’t bite off more than you can chew or make promises that can be difficult or impossible to keep. Also, be careful in traffic as some will be overconfident and pushing limits. The second is very good for seeing beneath the surface and making positive changes. Secrets and things normally kept hidden will be more accessible, but this will not be in a threatening or troubling way in most cases. If you have your ducks neatly in a row, you might even make an overture to authority about a positive change in your status. Careful with that one. Minor energies are not helpful, and good choices will be needed to get the most out of this day.
