A Small Town Paranormal Overnight Cemetery Crawl, the last of 2010, will be Oct. 23.
Organizers will be collecting money for cancer research (planned for the Sydney Ives Foundation). The foundation started for Rockford native Sydney Ives, who passed away from brain cancer in November 2009.
Ticket prices for the cemetery crawl are $10, which gives attendees a tour of five local haunted cemeteries.
Organizers are planning on this being a halloween season event, and will run as many “tours” as they have to. The hope is to raise as much money as possible for both the Sydney Ives Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A raffle is planned for after the crawl (depending on the number of people who show up, the raffle may be before the first group leaves). Raffle items will include merchandise, paranormal equipment and a few other surprises.
