If you are visiting the Best Western Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center, CoCo Key Water Resort or the Titled Kilt Pub & Eatery this week, don’t be surprised to find associates in overalls, silly hats or Halloween costumes.

Oct. 25-31, the Clock Tower is conducting Spirit Week, a program to celebrate employee appreciation and teamwork. The program encourages associates to dress in unusual attire, participate in contests and donate to a worthy cause.

Each day, associates participate by dressing in clothes and costumes based on the theme of the day. The themes were chosen by the staff and are as follows:

· Monday, Oct. 25—Sweat pants and sweat shirts

· Tuesday, Oct. 26—Hat Day

· Wednesday, Oct. 27—Jersey/Sport Day

· Thursday, Oct. 28—Farmer Day

· Friday, Oct. 29—Halloween Costume Day

· Saturday, Oct. 30—Hawaiian/Tropical Day

· Sunday, Oct. 31—Halloween Costume Day

The program will also include a special event to benefit a very worthy cause. At 3:30 p.m., Friday, associates will gather for a rally with food, a slide show, costume and pumpkin carving contests, and more. Each associate who brings two non-perishable food donations to the rally will have the opportunity to hit a manager of choice in the face with a cream pie. The food donations will go to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry.

Dwight Hopfauf, general manger of the Clock Tower Resort, said: “The associates of the Clock Tower are among the hardest working people you’ll find anywhere. This annual program that we conduct not only builds on our strong team spirit, but also gives us a chance to laugh and have fun together while at the same time helping a worthy cause.”

Approximately 160 associates are expected to participate in the rally Friday. The Clock Tower hopes to collect more than 100 cans of food for the Rock River Valley Food Pantry.
