I HAVE MET MR. BOOKER PERSONALLY AND HE IS A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING AND IS WORTHY OF BEING IN CHARGE AS SHERIFF FOR HE HAS A STRONG BELIEF IN GOD. MEYERS IS NOT AN HONEST MAN AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO HANG ON TO HIS POWER, BUT HE CANNOT OUTSMART GOD AND GOD WILL DISCIPLINE HIM IN HIS OWN TIME AND IN HIS OWN WAY. AS FAR AS BOOKER SLEEPING ON THE JOB, I CAN TELL YOU THAT HE HAS A SLEEPING DISORDER CALLED APNEA AND HE CAN REPAIR THAT BUT HOW WILL SHERIFF MEYER FIX HIS CORRUPT NATURE?

WITH GOD’S HELP ROCKFORD CITIZENS WILL WEED OUT THE EVIL AND CORRUPT SO-CALLED HUMAN BEINGS IN THE SHERIFF’S DEPT. THEY CANNOT OUTSMART GOD AND WILL FACE THEIR GOD FOR ALL THE CORRUPTION THEY DO. GOD WILL STOP THE CORRUPTION GOOD PEOPLE WITH PRAYER AND GUIDANCE AS TO WHAT WE SHOULD DO TO STOP EVIL FROM GROWING.

It’s real easy for people like Robert Ballard to criticize this lady for failing to come forward sooner. I have been in her shoes and I can tell you that the system looks upon you as a rat. There is no end to the harassment they can dream up.

Yeah, just “do the right thing” and “call them out”. Sounds so easy! Until you start thinking about what happens if you lose your job or they force you to resign

Robert…when a person is in the situation they are actually hoping to change or that it will change. Many times there are emotional loyalty issues tied to such issues. Often times such issues can create Traumatic Stress which further drives the person to “hunker” down and do their job and try to stay out of the way. It is only when a person is able to step away from a situation like the one described above that one can see more clearly without the paralyzing fear of being fired or thought to be a tattle tale rat and branded at one’s job forever. Its easy to sharp shoot someone like this and call them names and say they are just a culpable when you are not the one experiencing the abuse. This woman was clearly experiencing a form of abuse that was hard to extricate herself from without quitting. I have no sympathy for your insensitive comments regarding what this woman experienced.

Wow…this is a stunning indictment of the little cuts of corruption taking place in the Sheriff’s Department. These 1000 little cuts that fly under the radar and go undisciplined or when the discipline is handed out conspiratorially against certain people it undermines the morale of not only the Public Employees serving this community but it also undermines the confidence we the Winnebago County Community have in the Sheriff to serve this community. The above allegations are shocking and must be investigated.

Wow what a blatant hatchet job. If you were aware for these number of years of the many allegations of mismanagement and only now are blowing the whistle your nearly as incredible as the you now condemn. Coincidentally you are convinced of the good intentions of Sgt Booker to change the culture and correct all deficiencies. Just as you accuse Myers of selective timing for his allegations you too are timing your attack to impact upon election results. Maybe you should run for office you seem to have mastered many of the tactics successfully exploited by the long term sheriff. What a hack.

AMEN to that. Will anyone bother to listen though? Or not until your baby isn’t breathing while the dispatcher is also on the radio at the same time with an officer at gunpoint, will you BEGIN to realize whats a jeapordy and WHO put you there? And for the Sheriff to announce REACTIVE solutions, after the media is starting to get a true view of the “Mess” that is 911. He even lied at the last debate…making the public think that there are 18 Dispatchers in the center…when in FACT, 14 or 15, DIVIDED by FOUR Shifts. There are positions there, being financed by you, but no one has been actually hired to do the job. So, 4 or sometimes 3, dispatchers ARE the NORM to handle the incoming 911 AND Non Emergency calls of 12 towns AND the county. Its been that way for a LONG time. NOW, just before the Election, the Sheriff is “promising” to staff the place. As if he doesn’t know that it takes a year to fully train a dispatcher. Thats okay though, unless you happen to have an emergency and the dispatcher, due to exhaustion or mixups from the radio traffic, happens to get your address wrong or can’t pick up your call because there are so many other callers before you. Thats too little, to late. Aaron Booker has been there, and WILL be PROACTIVE. This whole CIRCUS of hearings, with the jury being the SHERIFF’S Merit Commission (Surprise, THEY ARE appointed BY the SHERIFF. No Bias There!), is a FARCE. Vote for Booker!
