		<description>The facts are Mr. Sweeney: 1) the property tax rate increased and 2) about two-thirds of county tax payers will be paying more in county property taxes this coming year. We could have avoided increases for those people, but a majority of board members chose not to avoid those increases.</description>

  Your real issue is that Winnebago County didn&#039;t spend additional tax payer dollars to tear out a median in front of your house.  Our conservative block fought for further spending cuts so that Winnebago County would not collect any more dollars from property taxes, and we WON.  You are upset because Winnebago County did NOT spend additional dollars to tear out part of a road just for you.  I have always sympathized with you because I agree that ridiculous IDOT rules are more big government garbage, but now you have twisted the issue because you are angry with those rules. I will not let you paint all of the County Board with one broad stroke, and you need to be honest about your motivation for being so upset.</description>
