Learn about amphibians at Nov. 7 event in Oregon, Ill.

OREGON, Ill.—A special program will be offered at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, at the Kickapoo Nature Center, 1919 N. Limekiln Road, Oregon, Ill. The center is about a half-mile north of the county fairgrounds.
Pam Otto presents “Phinding Phibs in Northern Illinois.” Otto is the manager of Nature Programs and Interpretive Services for the St. Charles Park District.
Amphibians, or phibs, are fascinating animals that are more often heard than seen. The program will focus on frogs, toads and salamanders.
Refreshments will be served following the program. It is free and open to the public.
