Freeport’s Lindo Theatre offers Halloween celebration Oct. 30

From press release

FREEPORT, Ill.—As part of its annual BOO-tiful Saturday Halloween celebration, The Lindo Theatre, at 115 S. Chicago Ave., Freeport, Ill., will present a screening of the family comedy Furry Vengeance Saturday, Oct. 30, with doors opening at 9:15 a.m. and the film beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is $1.

Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes and arrive early to meet a furry raccoon character before the movie begins.

Furry Vengeance (rated PG) stars Brendan Fraser, a real-estate developer, and Dan Sanders, who is creating a new housing subdivision in the Oregon wilderness, but faces a unique group of protesters—local woodland creatures who don’t want their homes disturbed.

“This Halloween celebration allows kids to dress up in Halloween costumes while enjoying a family-friendly movie,” says Chris Johnson, vice president of Classic Cinemas. “It’s become an annual event that families look forward to sharing with their friends and neighbors.”

Classic Cinemas, based in Downers Grove, Ill., is a family-owned company operated by Willis, Shirley and Chris Johnson. Established in 1978, Classic Cinemas operates 13 theaters with 99 screens in 12 communities in the northern Illinois area. For more information about Classic Cinemas, visit classiccinemas.com.
