I received 6,000 votes or more and I am very happy with that. I am a good guy, not a politician and one day people will realize that and help me in my quest of answering the call to public service. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to step up to the challenge of running for public office. My hat goes off to anyone that steps up. Also, This is only my second election and campaign. I ran for Alderman of the City of Rockford in 2009. This review sounds like I've ran for a number of offices. The Forest Preserve Commissioner campaign was only my second run. I am far from giving up on answering the call to public service. One day voters will give me a chance.
