Winter Wonderland at Summerfield Zoo Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6-7

BELVIDERE, Ill.—Summerfield Zoo, 3088 Flora Road, Belvidere, Ill., will present its first Winter Wonderland event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7.

Margaret Tyler, member of the board of directors at Summerfield Zoo, explained: “Winter Wonderland at Summerfield Zoo is going to be a magical event! Don’t miss the chance to take your best Christmas card picture ever—with live reindeer and elves. ”

Admission is $7 per adult and $5 per child, and all proceeds go to the care of all the animals, many of which are rescues.

The weekend will include live reindeer, elves, Mrs. Claus, storytelling, Christmas decoration craft stations, face painting and more. Enjoy animal presentations, the petting zoo, and shop in the gift shop.

Summerfield Zoo is a not-for-profit organization providing an up-close and personal animal experience for the whole family. As a small zoo, visitors can get up close and meet many of the animals.
