Get $1,500 tax credit on new furnaces—only until Dec. 31
From press release
Pearson, one of northern Illinois’ largest contractors for plumbing, heating and pest control services, would like to remind everyone that the federal tax credit on energy-efficient furnaces will expire Dec. 31.
Residents who have a new energy-efficient furnace installed before the end of the year can receive a tax credit of up to $1,500. To further ensure the warmth of Rockford-area residents this winter, Pearson is offering an additional $250 off qualifying furnaces.
To qualify for the federal credit, the new furnace must be a 95-percent efficient furnace. Pearson offers No. 1-rated American Standard family of furnaces, which meet the required rating.
“It’s a great opportunity for homeowners to replace an old furnace that may not be heating adequately or may be costing them hundreds of dollars extra in gas bills because the unit is inefficient,” said Greg Lee, Pearson’s president. “Our staff can assist homeowners with any questions they may have about the tax credit and different furnace models that meet federal standards for the tax credit.”
