Benefit for breast cancer patient Saturday, Nov. 20, at Whiskey’s Road House

Friends and family of “Kris” Blaine are holding a benefit to raise money for her medical expenses and to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. The event is from 2 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, at Whiskey’s Road House, 3207 N. Main St., Rockford.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids younger than 12. Cost includes dinner buffet and concert from Hitmen Unplugged, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, door prizes and bake sale.

Presale tickets are available by calling committee member Lindsay Beranek at (815) 397-8509. Tickets will also be available at the door.
