It is my opinion that the Superintendant be removed for all the reasons Dr Hardy has mentioned. I believe that he was treated wrongly by not only the Superintendant but also the Board. He is due a written and published apology. I happen to know how the students and parents felt when all this happened and I agree. I also believe it is time to restrict the boar members to just 1 term and that all board members should have students presently enrolled in RPS. The Board had better start doing what we pay (and we should not pay them at all, it should be non-paid) for. Mark my words, there will be lawsuits over this and the changing of the way this district does things, such as where kids go to school, changing classes, etc. Also the RACE CARD should have no place in this discussion at all. The super. was wrong to bring it up, period. She needs to be gone.....back to where ever she came from, altho I don't think they would want her back I still can't understand why we had to go outside the district to get a super, when we had several good canidates right here in Rockford. I imagine it was the members of the board, who didn't want a local to have the job, because he/she would know all the dirty little secrets. After having read both letters.
