What in the world is included in the $104,274,609 budget for the District 205 Board Office? I would not be surprised to see a little “PORK”, if we could get an honest breakdown of where that money goes. What makes the Sheffield administration so afraid to open the books . . . it should be a simple matter to refute the REA charges of extreme errors, if Ms. Sheffield’s figures are valid? Perhaps, a significant share of the 40-50 million they claim we need to cut, could come from that $104,274,609 figure!
Where are the “stand-up” people who got elected to run this rairoad? Why hasn’t a board representative demanded their employee (Ms. Sheffield) prove what she is stating? Her “clerk” has already admitted there could be a possible error in the report he submitted to the State (Rockford Register Star). Why hasn’t the local daily newspaper looked into this unbelievable mess? Aren’t they supposed to be looking for hard facts?

Since Dr. Sheffield thrives on data, where is the data to support keeping Leadership Academy open? Does data exist to show the effectiveness of this program? All other schools have to process data continuously to show their success, why not that one?

I realize that my questions are rather pointless, because unless Dr. Sheffield wants people to know or she can twist the figures, she will just ignore them. The questions about Ms. Peebles are extremely interesting. She does exist. She does come to schools and do “learning walks” and is a mentor to several building principals. She even has a district email address. But funny, she seems to be invisible in a FOIA request! Hmmmmmmmmmm

You go, ladies!!! Very happy Jane is running for school board. Maybe we can get rid of Sheffield and her dirty dealings.
Fresh Start–75 students, cost per student $53,558??? This is appalling!!
After viewing these stats, HOW can Dr. Sheffield state that there is racism when the westside schools seem to be funded better than the eastside schools??
