Astro-Weather: Week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1, 2011

By Guy Spiro

Wednesday, Jan. 26—High energy from yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread the forecast, and apply carefully. Make good use of the positive, and minimize the cautionary. The second, more cautionary one, peaks in today’s predawn, and remains especially strong. Be very careful in all matters involving communication and transportation, and be watchful for those responding very badly to anything that gets in their way or is not to their liking. The second is a continuation of yesterday’s positive energy in a stronger form. See beneath the surface, and come to deeper understanding. Light will be shed on all manner of things not normally so accessible. Much may be learned that can be put to very good use. Remember the cautionary energy, however, as some people will become aware of things they may not respond wisely to. Be especially careful from the late predawn through the morning as minor energies are rough, and some people will be indulging in some very bad moods. Concentrate on making positive new beginnings through the afternoon, and try to relax and enjoy the nighttime. Choices will be of paramount importance today.

Thursday, Jan. 27—High energy from yesterday, both positive and cautionary, will tend to remain with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Do not get caught up in the cautionary. A major energy is coming into focus through today that is related to the second one from last Sunday. Reread that forecast and put those kinds of things into motion. Today’s predawn has good moods running through it. Watch the mid-morning for some potential minor coercive irritability, but this will be short-lived, and there is positive communication in relationship energy to choose instead. The rest of the daytime is open. The evening is mixed. Watch for spaciness, and take a fun and expansive approach. Do be aware that the moon will be void of course tonight from 9:01 until 12:55, when the moon enters Sagittarius. At that point, the energy will lift, and general moods will tend to become more expansive and open to a range of ideas.

Friday, Jan. 28—The major energy mentioned yesterday peaks early this morning and remains very much with us through today. This is very good for initiating projects involving the uses of energy and power in subtle ways. Work behind the scenes and get important things done. The thing to watch is motivation, yours as well as others’. Once past last night’s moon void of course period, moods will become positive. A shift in the later predawn may occur, however, with some potential for hard attitudes. Watch the late morning for irritability and problems with communication and transportation, but these will pass quickly, if they are noticed at all. Good moods should run strongly from the midday through the evening. Take a communicative, cooperative, friendly and active approach. Have a great time tonight.

Saturday, Jan. 29—Late Friday-night social scenes will run unimpeded as far into today’s predawn as you want to carry on. Good moods should continue through the morning, and a friendly, yet disciplined, approach will serve best. Communicate and pay positive attention to relationships through the evening. Somewhat of a downturn may occur in the late night, but these are very minor energies that may well pass unnoticed. Have fun tonight, but make good choices.

Sunday, Jan. 30—Late Saturday-night social scenes may get off to a rocky start in today’s early predawn. Party people who hang in there will find the mid to later predawn mixed. Good moods should win out, but there may be some erratic emotional responses to deal with. The moon will be void of course this morning from 4:10 until 8:04, when it enters Capricorn. At that point, the energy will lift, and general moods will tend to become more down to earth and concerned with accomplishment. Some exaggerated emotional responses may occur in the late morning, but these will pass quickly, and the rest of the daytime is open.

Monday, Jan. 31—A major energy coming into focus through today is on the cautionary persuasion, and should be dealt with carefully. Watch for erratic behavior of all kinds and for the nutballs, who will be out and about. Also be on the lookout for sudden, unexpected violence, accidents and electrical fires. Of course, not everyone will experience these things, but they will be going on, and you don’t want to be among those who do get caught up in it. Aside from major energies, the late predawn into the early morning has the most positive moods. The late afternoon may have some hard attitudes to work around, and you will want to pay positive attention to relationships in the evening. This is yet another day for some good choices.

Tuesday, Feb. 1—High cautionary energy from yesterday peaks early this morning and remains very much with us. Reread and apply carefully. Five more major energies come into focus through today. The first is related and similar to yesterday’s, but involves authority. Watch for erratic and bizarre behavior of all kinds, and be especially careful with anyone up the food chain or in any kind of position of power. The second is very good for taking relationships and artistic matters to more spiritual levels. It can also be viewed as social, and that is what many will use it for. The third is positive for meditation, prayer or any other spiritual activity one may be involved in. Learn, teach and grow. The fourth can bring problems to relationships and social situations with more erratic behavior. Watch for unrealistic and unreasonable demands for change. You will notice energy levels rising through the day as the fifth major energy, tomorrow’s new moon, rolls in. Do be aware of and work around the moon void of course period this afternoon that runs from 1:32 until 5:21, when the moon enters Aquarius. At that point, the energy will lift noticeably, general moods will tend to become more independent and free-thinking, and the new moon period will begin in earnest. This will be a day of predominantly good moods, but things can run to extremes, and good choices will be very important.
