Additionally, the Park District enjoys the benefit of a low wage structure with no active employee unions. I'm not sure they grasp that these teacher/coaches are not doing this free. It would be really interesting to see the details of how the School District will save $3-4 million dollars, and how the Park District could ever take on any net costs.
