Today is new moon day. It is exact at 8:30 tonight. Remember that what you put into motion at around new moon brings results at the next full moon. This particular new to full period is best used for anything involving spirituality, science, technology and magic. Make positive changes in unusual ways. The things to be most careful of are relationships and social situations that can easily get out of control. Choices in these areas should be made wisely today through tomorrow at least. All of the high energy from the past two days will remain with us through today, so reread and apply. Be aware of two more major energies. The first is very good for communication and transportation, especially where electricity and electronic media are involved. It is also very useful with anything involving science, technology and magic. The second is great for communication in relationships. Use this energy well in the face of the cautionary. Some people will fall into the cautionary and reap harsh consequences at the coming full moon. Don’t be one of them. Choices.

Thursday, Feb. 3—Consider the new moon to remain very much with us through today and be good. Reread the past two days, and apply very well, making the very best use of the positives and minimizing the cautionary. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first indicates a general shift in thinking and communication patterns toward a more independent and free-thinking mode. This is Mercury entering Aquarius, where it will remain until it enters Pisces on the 21st. The second indicates a general shift in relationship and artistic energy toward a more down-to-earth and disciplined mode. This is Venus entering Capricorn, where it will remain until it enters Aquarius on March 2. Be aware that the moon will be void of course from 12:11 tonight through most of tomorrow’s predawn.

Friday, Feb. 4—The moon is void of course through much of today’s predawn, running from 12:11 until 4:24, when it will enter Pisces. At that point, the energy will lift, and general moods will become more mellow, perhaps a bit spacey and more spiritual. Consider the new moon to remain with us through today and be good. Be aware of three more major energies. The first sheds light on the uses of energy and power and is very good for beginning projects involving them. Put something positive into motion. The second and third are related and can bring problems to relationships. Watch for some people to spotlight any little annoyance or complaint and try to make a bigger deal out of it than it may really be. Don’t let small things become large ones, and deal carefully with people intent on doing so. For those not caught up in the cautionary energy, moods should be predominantly positive following the void of course through the mid-morning at least, and for most of us, through the daytime as well. Take a disciplined approach through the evening, and enjoy a high-energy social Friday night.

Saturday, Feb. 5—Late Friday-night party people who did not fall into yesterday’s cautionary energies should find social scenes positively energized well into today’s predawn. Make use of three major energies today. The first is excellent for anything involving communication, transportation, thinking and learning. This energy can be used for any positive activity. The second is good for communication and making positive new beginnings in relationships. Some of us will need to make use of this after the past few days. The third is great for any activity involving authority, older people and traditional matters. This is solid positive energy that can, and should, be used to bring greater stability to the important things in one’s life. Pay attention to the foundations and the bases you operate on and from. Take a disciplined approach, and much may be accomplished. Today’s best moods will run through the early afternoon, but make good choices and use of this day, whatever you find yourself doing. This is likely to be a very high-energy social Friday night.

Sunday, Feb. 6—Late Saturday-night social scenes are likely to be very highly energized well into today’s predawn. Party people should have a great time, but guard against getting carried away and taking things too far, which will be increasingly easy to do the later into the predawn it gets. High positive energy from yesterday will remain very much with us through today. Reread and apply well. Be aware of three more major energies today. The first is related and similar to yesterday’s, but brings energy and power into the mix. This is another day to get important things done. Take an energetic, but disciplined, approach, and much may be accomplished. The second is intense social and relationship energy that many people will enjoy and have fun with but easily leads to overindulgence of all kinds, and some will prove to themselves yet again that it is possible to get too much of a good thing. The third is of little help with the second. This energy tends to have people feeling positive and good about themselves and their chances, but the same problem with the potential for getting carried away remains. This is definitely a go-for-it day, but one to be disciplined with. Be aware of and work around the moon void of course period this afternoon running from 1:13 until 4:45, when the moon enters Aries. At that point, the energy will lift very noticeably, and general moods will tend to become more assertive and aggressive. Try to relax and take it easy through the evening and the late night. Don’t let minor irritations blow up all out of proportion.

Monday, Feb. 7—High energy from yesterday, both positive and cautionary, will remain with us through today. Reread and apply carefully. Be aware of two more major energies today. The first is related to yesterday’s third, and adds energy and power to it. Much may be done with this, but it must be with a disciplined approach. Don’t get carried away and try to do too much, as frustration and disappointment can set in for those attempting the impossible. The second is very good for seeing beneath the surface of things, coming to deeper understanding of how things really work and getting things done behind the scenes. Keep the eyes and ears open, as there will be much to learn today. Watch as others flailing about with the other energies become wiser for it.

Tuesday, Feb. 8—High energy from the past few days will tend to linger through today, especially yesterday’s second one. Reread and apply carefully. Aside from major energy, take a disciplined approach through the mid-predawn, and watch for hard attitudes. Good moods should run from the late predawn into the mid-morning. Take an active and friendly approach. Some minor spaciness may arise in the late morning, but this will likely pass unnoticed. The rest of daytime into the late night is open. The very late night is mixed, but good moods should win out. Be aware that the moon will be void of course through most of tomorrow’s predawn.
