IceHogs’ struggles continue

Rockford IceHogs forward Rob Klinkhammer (37) gets hooked by Milwaukee’s Grant Lewis (25) on a breakaway attempt Saturday, Jan. 29, at the MetroCentre. As a result, Klinkhammer was awarded a penalty shot, but failed to convert. Rockford would lose to the Admirals 3-2 in overtime. As of press time, the IceHogs were in last place in the West Division of the AHL’s Western Conference. Rockford next plays Friday, Feb. 4, when the team heads to Milwaukee to face the Admirals.
