E-mail: No tickets for a Bears Super Bowl

In the interest of fairness and equality, here’s another item that showed up in my e-mail box an hour or so before the Super Bowl game. I have to admit, even though I will never like the Green Bay Packers, I did laugh at this story.
A man goes to the Chicago Bears ticket office and inquires about purchasing Super Bowl tickets. The ticket-teller replies that there weren’t any tickets for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl.
The following day, the same man goes to the Chicago Bears’ ticket office and inquires about purchasing Bears Super Bowl tickets. The ticket-teller politely replies there weren’t any tickets for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl.
This goes on for an entire week.
The man again goes to the Bears’ ticket office inquiring about Super Bowl tickets, and the teller says none is for sale because the Bears did not make it to the Super Bowl.
Another week of this goes by, and the man still is asking the ticket-teller about Bears Super Bowl tickets.
Finally, the ticket-teller, in a loud voice, says, “I’VE TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS THERE WERE NOT ANY TICKETS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THE BEARS DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!”
The man replied: “I know. I drove all the way from Green Bay just to hear you say that.”
Ha ha.
There, I did it! I wrote something that wasn’t negative about the Packers. Now would all of the Packers fans kindly lose my e-mail address? PLEASE!
