A Beloit, Wis. man was arrested Thursday, Feb, 10, for allegedly possessing child pornography, Rock County Sheriff’s officials said Friday.
Timothy Krueger, 27, was arrested at his home after officers from the Special Investigations Unit and Rock County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 1143 Oak St., Beloit.
Upon searching a computer hard drive found in the home, investigators uncovered several sexually explicit images of children, police said.
The hard drive, along with several laptop computers and other media devices, was seized in the search.
Krueger has been charged with possession of child pornography and, as of this report, is being held at the Rock County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday, Feb. 14. It is not known if he has an attorney.
In Wisconsin, possession of child pornography is a Class I Felony, punishable by up to three-and-a-half years in prison, and fines of up to $10,000.
