Everyone deserves respect and especially the board members one works for. Also, the right to assemble, to go hear a speaker, to
listen to both sides…that’s about as American as gets. Thank you Mrs. Saudargas for all you do for us!

The Super has actually violated the 205 anti-bullying laws/rules. But, since she is not a student I’m sure her legal team would never call her out for the bullying she has done to several BOE members and community members LIVE on TV.

i would characterize the (??) drs. (??) statements as elder abuse. mrs. saudargas is the drs. employer and elder. a modicum of respect is in order.

Thank you Mrs. Saudargas for your many years of service. We all need to reflect upon the numerous moments of Sheffield’s disrespect at the board meetings. She has spoken untruths about Mr. Evans, Mrs. Makulec and others. If you are not one of her robots, then you don’t know truth, per Sheffield. If I were to speak that way to my boss, I would not only be “written up” but most likely packing my things. UNREAL!!!!

Time for her to go…. minor expense in comparision to more and more outrageous behaviors.

Bravo Alice, Bravo….

While I may not always agree with Mrs. Saudargas, I never doubt that she is all about the kids. I can not say that for Sheffield. Time and time again Sheffield has shown her disdain for the school board members along with the people in her cabinet. Pay her off and point her in the direction of the exit. Then fire every last one of her cabinet members.

I was also stunned by the unprofessional conduct and disrespect that Dr. Sheffield showed for Ms Saudargas on Tuesday night. All I could think was really, really, you are going to pick on Alice who has served this community longer than you have been alive. Not only were her comments inappropriate but since Dr. Sheffield did not attend the Monday night rally, her information was second hand. I believe that is called heresay. While she insists that she doesn’t listen to rumors and innuendos isn’t that what she based her lastest outburst toward Ms Saudargas on. Gee, Dr. Sheffield if you aren’t listening to rumors then I guess you are starting them.

Dr. Sheffield’s comments Tuesday at the school board meeting were perhaps the most unprofessional and uncalled for that I have heard from anyone at the school meetings I have attended including the Board, administration, or community members.

Lisa Jackson was right in suggesting to Alice Saudargas to not comment off the cuff. Now that time has been taken to digest the comment, I would hope the Board will reprimand their employee, Dr. Sheffield. Former Mayor’s Charles Box and John McNamara were in attendance. They both have had the opportunity to see Alice Saudargas in action and understand she has spent most of her life serving this community.

Sadly, the Rockford Register Star failed to include anything about this in their reporting of the night’s event. Watch the replay on channel 20. You decide if it was newsworthy. All I can say is wow!

I was under the impression that Superintendents work FOR the Board. It’s as if Scheffield believes she is autonomous. A bit of humility and professionalism would go a long way LeVonne.

Thank you for your nearly 70 years of support for the Rockford children Alice!

Also, you can clearly see that 205 will never stop the bad behavior and bulling in our schools when the Superintendent themselves is the biggest offender and bully in the district.
