Close the charter schools, fresh start ( page park ), roosevelt and lalaland ( nation of islam prison mentor program ) the old goodwill ability center if the people don't know. If the children don't want to get a public education and drop out let them do so and if they don't die on the streets they can pay to take classes at the library for their G.E.D , period. If they become incarcerated then they will get another introduction to education and the nation of islam! Rockford has a gang problem not a race problem! Get rid of them Rockford, let's start to clean up, not babysit and cater to them. Cut em all off now! This it what you do. This balances what is being claimed as the $50 million deficit...without closing another school, without eliminating another program, and without laying off any RPS205 personnel.
