I quit the RRStar years ago. Their anti-civil service, anti-Union, anti-labor,,, well, pretty much anti-anything to do with the American worker, finally got to me. I felt that it would be hypocritical of them to accept my Union earned cvil service pension as payment for my subscription to their paper. So, to save them from themselves, I cancelled. Now, I rely on the RRTimes and Chicago Tribune for my news. And, they seem to serve me quite well.

Another customer giving the STAR das boot. Yes they did lay-offf how many production workers. Do not think all the writers and cartoonist work in Rockford-call the paper and ask to talk to certain contributors, you'll be told they do not report downtown to work. While many papers are owned from out of town---TRRT is home owned and grown. Also the TRRT does not CENSOR the citizens who write to express opinions. For a fact-the Star will censor and sandbag issues. Continue the boycott and soon they can shutter the entire Tower(Babel).
