Three arrested on drug charges at downtown barbershop

Three men were arrested March 16 at Timeless Touch Barber Shop, 323 N. Church St., Rockford, following a Rockford Police investigation into the alleged sale of illegal narcotics.
Police arrested Bashir Jihad-Baree, 33, and Lamont D. Foster, 27, both of Rockford, and Marquis D. Williams, 28, of Chicago.
Jihad-Baree was charged with possession with intent to deliver 30-500 grams of cannabis; Williams was charged with possession of cannabis and held on $1,000 bond; and Foster was charged with possession of cocaine.
Jihad-Baree is a co-owner of Timeless Touch Barber Shop. A search of the barbershop yielded cannabis, cocaine and United States currency.
