‘Beatles, Barber and Copland’ March 25

Without Shoes Dance Company presents its spring concert, “Beatles, Barber and Copland,” at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Rockford College’s Maddox Theater.
Rockford’s only professional and pre-professional dance company, Without Shoes presents The Polar Express each December. The spring concert will focus on the music of the Beatles, Barber and Copland, and feature live music, guest artists as well as company members and a few special children’s pieces.
Guest artists include Nanette Felix, harp; Edward Bogdonas, drums; Bob Rub, piano; Dave Timmcke, bass; Brian Pickett, guitar; and Jacques Saint-Cyr, flute. Measure 5, from the Music Academy at Rockford College, will also perform live.
Tickets are available at the door for $15 adults ($5 student/child price).
