Did you miss the registration deadline of March 8 to vote at the polls on Election Day?
Grace period registration and voting allows City of Rockford residents to register, or make a change of address and vote at the Board of Elections. If you wish to vote for the April 5 Consolidated Election, you must vote the same day you register.
Grace period registration and voting runs through March 29, hours 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 26. The Election Office is at 301 S. Sixth St. Grace period registrants may not go to the polls April 5, to vote.
Winnebago County residents who live outside the city limits of Rockford must go to the County Clerk.s Office at 404 Elm St.
