Whatever happened to the phrase “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”? Also, liberty and justice for all—along with government by the people and for the people. Most all these big corporations were made by hard-working middle-class, competent personnel that made them progress and become big and successful. Now, they ship most of their machinery overseas, leaving our work force high and dry.
Some of our politicians are selling their souls to corporate lobbyists who try to get legislators to vote for measures favorable to the special-interest groups. The regular citizens that play the game according to Hoyle [card game rules] are sold down the river lock, stock and barrel. They don’t care any more about the American people than the man in the moon.
Why is it the Bush administration had a cunning way of circumventing many issues with deception and manipulation—such as taking action under false pretenses? The war in Iraq, illegal immigration, incarcerating border guards, and letting dope peddlers get off scot-free.
Now, some of our politicians are so concerned about budgeting when billions of dollars were wasted in the war in Iraq, and nothing was being done about it. The rich get richer, and the middle class gets poorer. Bush has had the worst administration since Hoover’s bread lines.
