Klehm hosts book signing for author Cecilia Miles

Staff Report

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden will host a book signing for local author Cecilia Miles from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 2, at the arboretum, 2715 S. Main St., Rockford.

Miles, a resident of Roscoe, Ill., will be available to sign copies of her new inspirational Christian devotional book, God Can Make Lemonade Out of Life’s Lemons: From Challenge to Triumph.

In her inspirational story, Cecilia Miles found herself asking the question, why would God choose her baby to be born with a birth defect? Was He testing her faith or teaching her to use it? Find the answer with Cecilia as she documents her daughter Shelby’s corrective surgeries, accidents and difficulties and learns that God’s Word holds the key to success.

If you’re facing a challenge that makes you want to throw in the towel, God Can Make Lemonade Out of Life’s Lemons is the perfect tool to teach you that God can turn those challenges into triumphs. As you read Cecilia’s account, you’ll learn how to apply biblical wisdom to your problems, and at the end of each chapter, you’ll track your spiritual growth in a victory journal. Learn from Cecilia, and let God turn your bitter experiences into sweet lemonade.

From the March 30-April 5, 2011, issue
